An incredible location in Randazzo: Sikania Garden Village is a former nursery converted into a restaurant. It boasts a massive 2000 sqm of greenery, both indoors and outdoors, complete with beautiful relaxation areas and sofas perfect for aperitivo time. A truly welcoming spot to spend time between the bar, restaurant, and pizzeria.
We tried it for Sunday lunch and started with a truly excellent mixed Sicilian appetizer: cold cuts, cheeses, and stellar treats like fried bread and battered zucchini flowers.
But let's move on to the real star: the pistachio ravioli, filled with ricotta and spinach.
The pistachio cream has a beautiful color and is super fragrant. On the palate, you can taste a very high-quality pistachio, definitely Sicilian, and likely Bronte pistachio DOP. A natural flavor, delicate yet well-defined, accompanied by a slight hint of onion in the base. A very pleasant dish that is never cloying.
