Too much cream. A pleasant lunch break.
Rating: 7/10
Bacco Tabacco e Senape is a beautiful bar located in Palermo that offers a vast menu, almost like a restaurant.
For a quick lunch break, I tried their Pistachio and Speck pasta, a very classic but always welcome combination.
The pasta was cooked well and generously sauced, with both the pistachio cream and the speck being truly abundant.
In the pistachio cream, the cream was dominant, serving as the base and leaving the pistachio with a flavor that was present, but very delicate.
In my opinion, therefore, although not very intense on the pistachio front, it turned out to be a pleasant lunch break, also thanks to the well-curated setting.
However, simply increasing the percentage of pistachio in the cream would be enough to intensify the flavor, because the potential is definitely there.
