Soft and delicious, but the pistachio is delicate.

In the small town of Lentini, in the province of Siracusa, we tried the pistachio pizzetta offered by Mokambo Bistrò (to read the review of their arancino click here).
A super soft, truly delicious dough, topped with tomato sauce, ham, and pistachio pesto. The flavors blend together and the pizzetta melts in your mouth—it's really good.
The flavor of the pistachio pesto gets a bit lost due to the sauce, but it still manages to provide a significant contribution to the overall taste.
Overall, a pizzetta that we enjoyed, even if the pistachio flavor doesn't reach great intensity, hence the rating of 7/10.
