Pistacchissimo.it launches the "Pistachio Rame di Napoli Challenge" to compile the ranking of the best pistachio Rame di Napoli in Catania and its province (though the challenge is also open to other provinces).
All businesses that make this product can participate: bars, pastry shops, bakeries, etc.
Awards:
- "Pistacchissimo" Award: the main challenge, the 3 Rame with the most intense pistachio flavor!
- "Dough" Award: the 3 Rame with the best dough!
- "Aesthetics" Award: the 3 Rame with the most beautiful appearance!
- "Special" Mentions: the Rame that stood out for some unique characteristic!
We asked you to tag on Facebook and Instagram the shops you wanted to see participate in the challenge, and you suggested more than 20 in 2018 and over 30 in 2019.
We contacted them all, and in the challenges, you will find those who accepted the challenge with their pistachio Rame di Napoli!

Rules:
- The judgment of the Rame is focused primarily on how much the pistachio flavor comes through, but clearly, if the pistachio level is equal, all supporting factors (softness of the dough, balance of flavors, etc.) will also be evaluated.
- Shops must provide Pistacchissimo with at least 3 Pistachio Rame di Napoli by the day before the video recording. Delivery methods will be agreed upon privately. This is the only actual commitment required from the shop.
- The filming for the challenge video will be carried out by Pistacchissimo, who will taste and review in line with the style of their videos. This video will be filmed independently, outside of the competing shops, so no commitment is required from the participants.
- The challenge is free to ensure total impartiality of judgment.
- The challengers agree to be subject to the opinion of Pistacchissimo, which as always is strongly focused on pistachio, and does not in any way wish to challenge the quality of their work as professionals in the sector.
- The challengers commit, according to the criterion of common sense, to provide a product analogous to the one sold to customers. Making a better product just for the challenge would make little sense and would certainly be counterproductive when compared to final customers.
- The challenge, although approached with the utmost seriousness by Pistacchissimo out of respect for others' work, will have a lighthearted tone, and the result should be taken sportingly. As in any competition, not everyone can win, but having put themselves out there is certainly a very significant merit.
